Inconvenience

Consensus
(Lettie Costea / Canada / 14m)
Youth
Six teens become stranded in the woods when their teacher dies in a freak accident. They huddle to plan their survival. Using the meeting tools they learned about in school, they seek the optimal solution through consensus. But in analogy to the business term “death by process”, aiming for consensus impedes them to make any decision.

SLUT
(Rhea Goddard / UK / 7m)
Student
‘Reclaim the Night’ marches have been taking place for 40 years calling for women’s safety at night. SLUT! explores the attitudes towards women in the past and present, to see if they have changed. Marchers discuss the idea of double standards between men and women, slut shaming and victim blaming. Leading to the question, has attitudes towards women really changed since the marches began in 1970’s?

Cold Hands
(Eric Bizzarri / Canada / 17m)
Student
In an effort to make friends in high school, Lucas finds himself in a position that compromises his safety. In the aftermath, he realizes that the support he seeks is not guaranteed.
