Prenatal Yoga is a wonderful way for women to prepare their bodies and minds for birth and motherhood and it comprises of so much more than poses and breathing.
In this workshop you will;
— Learn the different aspects of yoga
— Asana, poses that are safe and relieve common discomforts, contraindications and cautions
— Pranayama (breathing) meant to relax and calm the nervous system
— Meditation specific to pregnancy to appreciate the journey and prepare for what lies ahead
— Mindfulness to feel connected to their bodily changes and their baby
— Mudras to create subtle energy shifts
— Mantras/Affirmations to promote a positive pregnancy and birth experience
We will also discuss and learn the Chakra energy system and how women can heal and release fears.
A brief introduction on how Ayurveda can support women with the right nutrition, exercise and self-care for their dosha(constitution)
**It is important to note that this one day workshop does not qualify you to teach a public yoga class. You can recommend and guide your clients with the tools that you will learn and practice.**
